SOCIAL IMPACT

Fashion is at its most powerful when it creates confidence, opportunity, and positive change. Through every
partnership, campaign, and initiative, Raishma remains committed to using its platform to make a meaningful
difference.

SUPPORTING ACID ATTACK SURVIVORS

RESTORING CONFIDENCE THROUGH OPPORTUNITY

As part of Raishma’s ongoing ethical initiatives, Raishma and a close network of loyal clients privately contributed funds to support Jesmin, an acid attack survivor in Bangladesh, helping provide access to reconstructive treatment, recovery support, accommodation, medication, and ongoing care. The contribution was made in collaboration with Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF), with the aim of supporting both the physical and emotional recovery journey of the survivor while helping raise awareness around the long-term impact of acid violence on women.

Founded in 1999, Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) works to prevent acid and burn violence while supporting survivors through medical, psychological, and social rehabilitation. Their work continues to restore dignity, independence, and hope to women and children affected by acid violence

BREAST CANCER NOW

FUNDRAISING & AWARENESS PARTNER

Between 2024 and 2025, Raishma supported Breast Cancer Now through fundraising and awareness initiatives, helping raise over £5,000 for the charity.

Alongside fundraising efforts, the campaign generated national press coverage, helping increase awareness around breast cancer and encouraging wider conversations about support, early detection, and research.

Through events, public engagement, and advocacy, Raishma has used her platform to champion the Trust's mission and help drive positive social change within underserved communities.

SOLO SHOW, MARYLEBONE

SUPPORTING BARNARDO'S & BINTI

IIn 2018, Raishma hosted a solo fashion show in Marylebone in support of Barnardo’s and Binti, the UK and India’s first registered period charity. The event helped raise awareness around child welfare and period poverty, supporting Binti’s mission to provide menstrual dignity through access to pads, education and breaking the stigma around periods.

The show also gained media attention and featured Nadia Sawalha, helping bring wider visibility to the causes supported.
