Raishma and Minerva Trust Inaugurate London Fashion Week

Last night Raishma hosted a networking event in collaboration with Minerva trust, to inaugurate London Fashion Week. Raishma held a preview of her SS18 collection with makeup and hair artist Gini Bhogal providing a live demonstration. Raishma generously provided an on-the-day sale and gave 10% of all the proceeds made on the evening to the Minerva trust. Minerva is “one of the largest independently owned trust companies in Jersey” aiming to build relationships between clients, directors and so forth. Minerva ensures to attain their quality within the services they provide to their customers by catering to each individual client. Vaishali (the representer for the trust) began the evening, by introducing Minerva and expressing her enthusiasm for fashion and the Raishma brand. Additionally, Raishma briefly talked about her journey in the fashion industry and previewed three looks from her much-awaited Spring Summer 18 collection. Gini Bhogal, beautifully demonstrated how each look could be adapted into the evening through changing the hair and makeup in little to no time. Raishma selected a cocktail dress, perfect for Ascot season, a shirt for work or party wear and finally a romantic pastel purple maxi dress perfect for summer weddings. Gini created quick and easy hairstyles, starting with an effortless fishtail braided bun, halo half up-do and finished on a bohemian style bun. Along with her demonstration, Gini shared expert tips and tricks of the trade on how to simply transition a look from day to night, the easiest way to apply eyelashes and quick on the go curls. A friendly atmosphere was created through soft music, various sophisticated canapes and drinks. Furthermore, all guests received a lovely departing goodie bag consisting of a delicate glass lantern, vegan friendly chocolate, Raishma silk scarf and a Raishma look book. In all, the evening was a wonderful networking event, bringing together women to celebrate Fashion.
