SS23 Collection spotted on the Raishma Runway; Ablaze of Colour
On Saturday, September 17, Raishma showcased her SS23 collection, "Ablaze of Colour." The range comprises of stunning bold block prints mixed with hand embroidery and delicate detailing. This capsule range included cape gowns, midis, and easy to wear jumpsuits and slip dresses perfect for Resort.
“If I wore beige no one would know who I was” the Queen famously said. Strong colours for a confident modern woman. The bright hues she wore conveyed optimism and hope, which made her stand out in a crowd. This strong bold collection is a tribute to HRH Elizabeth II.
Raishma decided to participate in the Sustainable & Inclusive Fashion Show by London Represents during LFW, because she strongly supports all inclusivity, all individuals, all sizes, all creeds, and all disabilities.
As a brand we continue to push sustainability. In 2022 we have introduced 100% recycled polyester for Raishma Studio and now we only use recycled packaging. Despite being a small brand, we are continuing to look at more sustainable materials for future seasons.
We opened the show with this beautiful sequin v-neck midi dress. This beaded dress shows vibrant reds and blues that catches the crowd's eye. Maimuna [maimunakimuli] walked gracefully down the catwalk holding Her Majesty The Queens favorite flower, the white lily.
We loved dressing Samanta [Insta:samantabullock] in our block print turquoise jumpsuit with tie up shoulder strap detail.
The cobalt blue off the shoulder jersey dress with front fuschia pink frill detail was worn beautifully by Vanessa [Insta:inspiringvanessa].
We were proud to dress Kathleen [Insta:kathleenhumberstone] in the orange and pink block print midi dress with ivory hand beading.
To end the show, we have the gorgeous show-stopping red couture gown. With beaded embellishments up to the hip line with a fish tail layered taffeta skirt. Phoenix [Insta:missphoenixbleu] walked with elegance down the runway with the Flag of Great Britain as a nod to The Queen.
Raishma herself finally came down the runway with Phoenix to finish the show.
