Ellie Goulding's Bridal Gown
Who else saw Ellie Goulding’s stunning Victorian-inspired Chloe dress? We did and we are obsessed!
Married on the 31st of August in York Minster pop star Ellie Goulding got married in a Victorian church the whole event looked absolutely beautiful. The dress, a bespoke Chloé silk crêpe gown, designed by Creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi, was hand-embroidered with White Rose of York symbols.
Ellie, who was involved with the designing of the dress, said when talking to Vogue, "Some of my inspiration for my Chloé gown ultimately came from historical brides, particularly Jane Seymour, whose dress was decorated with beautiful embroidery.”
The gorgeous dress with hand embroidery mirrors some of our Raishma bridal gowns that we have in-store and online! Our "Hannah Gown" is a delicately hand-embroidered tulle gown with full sleeves and tulle overlay on skirt section. The skirt falls with a small train at the back, and the sleeves and neckline are sheer. The all-over beading resembles that of Ellie's dress along with the long sleeves and high neckline, although sheer, gives it a more modern feel.
Another of our beautiful gowns is our "Alice Bridal Gown" in ivory, it features beautiful beadwork all over the bodice of the gown, much like Ellie's dress it is cinched in at the waist, to flatter the brides figure. We suggest wearing this stunning dress with silver heels and jewellery for a stunning wedding outfit.
