Last week, Paris was glamorous, filled with cutting-edge designs and this was all due to Paris Couture week, the most prestigious couture week in the world, showcasing the work of incredible designers in the most beautiful and regal surroundings. Raishma previewed her 2018 couture collection alongside Elie Saab, Valentino, Patrick Boffa, and many more. So here is a look and short review as to how the runway looked.
Following our last blog post, the inspiration and concept behind Raishma’s new couture line were Natural Elements. From stones, to oceans, to skies; Raishma’s work variated from graceful gowns to bridal couture. Our personal favourite is the silver heavily detailed skirt and blouse. The silk duchess satin reflected the lighting in the stunning venue and enhanced the hand embroidery which embellished the whole ensemble.
The finale gown which achieved gasps in the audience was a silk hand embroidered gown. Complete with a three metre train and coordinating tule veil, the wedding dress was the perfect finale to the show.
